Default pivottable date

I have dates in the column field in the following format mm/yyyy

however its not sorting as it should.

currently it displays like 01/2006, 04/2005, 05/2005........... 12/2005

How can it display 04/2005, 05/2005, .......12/2005 , 01/2006


please help

Hi

Go to ToolsOptionsLists and create a new list of 04/2005, 05/2005,
06/2005 etc.
Go back to the PT, double click on the field, choose Advanced and select
SortAscending again.

And if they're real dates (not text) sorting may be enough, without
creating a custom list.
