Cut and paste or Copy just cell contents?
I want to be able to cut and paste or move just the cell contents without
moving or erasing the cell lines and colors. I have a worksheet that from time to time a whole row of data is deleted and I would like to then move the rest of the data up but then the cell borders and colors move and leave behind dlanks that need to be reformatted. Thanks |

After you copy a cell to the clipboard, move the pointer to an open
cell and right-click. Choose Paste Special and select Values only. This will paste the value only with no formatting. Note the other Paste Special options- they may be useful for you too, either now or later. |
