I have a large Excel file and for some reason when I try to filter the data
it displays the selected rows, plus row 3601 and below. Any ideas?

AMD, how many rows of data are you working with? Selecting the data table is
actually moot when working with AutoFilter (is that what you are using?)
Excel identifies the range of the data table and will apply the filter
accordingly. Check for hidden rows, or occupied cells between the end of
what you consider your data table and row 3601 - if there is anything in
there, delete it. Or if that data is necessary, insert a blank row beneath
where you want your data table to end.

Thanks for your help 229. I actually fixed the problem by re-applying the
auto-filter to my data. Not sure what went wrong but I'm glad it got fixed.
Thanks again!!!
