Default BLANK cell TO A NUMBER

I want to replace all the cells that have no text or number in them to the
number Zero. What do I do?

Select your range to fix (including the filled in cells)
edit|goto|special|Click Blanks|ok
(notice that only the blank cells in that original range are selected)
type 0
hit ctrl-enter (instead of enter) to fill those empty cells.
