I am working In Excel Office 2003. When I put a number or amount in a cell,
a date comes up each time. I have looked through alot of information and can't seem to find out what causes this. |

Dates in Excel are just specially formatted numbers. So if you just change
the format, you should be okay. (Use one of the styles --comma, percent, currency-- that you probably have on your toolbars or, from the menu bar, Format Cells, select the number tab and choose an appropriate format).
