Default Latitude and Longitde problem

Hi all

Just wondering if somebody can help me with a problem.

I need to calculate the distance between two latitude and longitude
co-ordinates. Is there a function I can use? The lat. and long.
co-ordinates are expressed as decmals and not deg, mins and secs.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Francois
