Default setting up excell to add and subtract numbers.

I am strating to use Excell Check Register, and I am unable to add and
subtract numbers. I would like someone to help me set this up.

If you are using:

Enter the credits and debits in columns F and G. If the balance in column H
does not update then pull-down:

Tools Options Calculation and check automatic
