Excel cannot just "disappear". Did you re-format your computer and re-load Windows and your applications? Have you purchased a new computer? Excel is not part of the Windows OS. Comes separately as a stand-alone or part of the MS Office Suite. Perhaps you lost the shortcut to Excel. What occurs when you go to StartRun "excel.exe"?
