Nephets

First hit CTRL + End to see where Excel thinks is the end of used range.

If far below and right of what you know is your real used range then

scroll to bottom of data.

Select first blank row then SHIFT + End + DownArrow.

EditDeleteEntire Row.

Do same for columns to the right of your data.

Now the important step.................Save the workbook.

In some versions a close after save is also required.

When you re-open, your used range should be correct and your scroll length
much shorter.
