Default opening lotus wk4

i'm trying to open lotus .wk4 in excel and it gives me an error message. how
can i open the lotus document in excel?

Excel 2003 can read and write .wk4 files, which version of Excel are you
using?

Set a small amount of data in a Worksheet and test the Save As .wk4
option.
