Default Excel - Auto Hyperlinks - Errors

For cells that I have entered a hyperlink into, the mouse-over indicates the
wrong link. Also, blank cells, rows, columns below the data I am entering
have for some reason "self created" hyperlinks that cannot be seen unless
they are moused-over . . . . I delete, clear, etc . . . and this continues to
happen. What is going on?

I think we'd need an example of the cell's value and what the hyperlinks
shows to be able to help.
