how do you get Word to open documents in it's own window(s)?
I have Word Documents hyper-linked in Excel cells. When I click the Excel
hyper-linked cell, it opens the Word Document(s) but in the same window as Excel Workbook. The Word Document takes over the Excel Workbook window and minimizes the Excel Workbook. If I click the back button on the Word Document it Restores the Excel Workbook but places the workbook on top of the Word Document. If I close the open Word Document it leaves the Excel Workbook minimized. In order to get back to Excel Workbook, I have to click on the task bar and Restore it that way. How do I get the Word Document(s) to open in their own window while leaving the Excel Workbook open (maximized)? This problem does not happen when NotePad Text files are hyper-linked to Excel. |
