Default Cheque filling software

Has anyone knowledge of a software designer who has created a template
for writing British style cheques. I am not talking about mega
software as may be used by a company.

I am thinking of a system that accepts an already printed bank cheque
from a standard cheque book, fed into the machine as a DL type
envelope would be is that will print in my information as to date,
payee, amount etc.

I am using an HP printer where you feed envelopes in edge first on
right.

Lazy! No not really, due to an arthritic condition my writing is
unreliable and often misunderstood. I can usually get my signature
right. I write as little as possible.

Appreciating that regular bank cheques in the UK are pretty standard
in size, the designing of 'one size fits all templates should be
possible .

Thank you.

Over here in the US of A, we have at least a couple of programs that do this
kind of thing.

Intuit's Quicken
Microsoft's Money

You may find that one of those dedicated programs offer so many other features
that it's worth the investment.

In fact, you may want to check with your bank to see if they offer online
banking. Lots of banks over here are offering this for free.

(no, I don't know any template like this--but I've never looked.)
