Default Excel Template

I am trying to remove part of the template in the Excel Expense Statement
template. I can't even highlight it. What's the deal??? HELP!!!!!!!

KKT, I am also trying to highlight and change the $ or remove it completley.
I've t5ried everything but the format cells route won't work as those options
aren't available!!!
