Hyperlinks break the preview of a cell
We have a large Excel document with tabs and hyperlinks and there's a
behaviour that's quite odd. In one cell we have a lot of text, like 5-6 lines worth. When we mouse-over the cell, it shows the contents in full (that's good). If we create a hyperlink to another tab / cell, the text is cut in half even though the hyperlink works. There are other cells which have no problem and when you check the properties of the hyperlink you see the 'text to display' as <<Selection in Document but I cannot re-create it. Each cell has the same values and I've searched high and low and found nothing. Hopefully someone here knows what to do. Excel 2003 SP1 is the version. |
