Sort in Pivot Table
I have a Pivot Table with 3 columns of data. Column A has the Dept Number, Column B has the Dept Description, and Column C has $ amounts associated with the Dept in Columns A and B. Is it possible to sort the data in this Pivot Table by the $ amounts in Column C? If so, I would greatly appreciate your help in doing this? In the mean time, I've just copied and pasted special the data in the chart into a different sheet and performed the sort there. Thanks in advance! -- deacs ------------------------------------------------------------------------ deacs's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=2321 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=478928 |
Sort in Pivot Table
You can double-click the Dept Description button, and click Advanced.
For AutoSort options, select Ascending, then click OK, click OK. However, the amounts will be sorted within the Departments, not overall. deacs wrote: I have a Pivot Table with 3 columns of data.
