Default custom footers in Excel 97

I want to add the path for the worksheet in the custom footer for my
workbook. How do I do that?

You can type it in manually or you could use some code to put it in.

If you do this a lot, you could use John Walkenbach's addin:
http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/files/addpath.htm

This addin will build that code for you.
