Default Excel dates prior to 01/01/1900

Excel does not assign a serial number to dates prior to 1/1/1900. Dates
prior to this cannont be sorted or used in sum conditional statements. It
seem like a simple fix and is and annoyance when needed.

The VBA date variable goes back to the year 100. John Walkenbach has an
excellent free utility for working with extended dates.

I agree with Troy. This suggestion has been out here for YEARS - FIX IT NOW
for ALL VERSIONS. We pay enough money for this software. Birth dates and
Historical dates go back before 01/01/1900 and should stored and used the
SAME way. Don't even bother suggesting the ADDIN again NO addin should be
NEEDED for dates. IT is totally ridiculous that all dates back in HISTORY
can't be used correctly and the same. OTHER software handles dates with no
problem - so should microsoft office excel in ANY version.
