need to correct scanned document all i get is jumbled words
i scaned a doc & i need to correct some figures but all i get is jumbled mess

Are you scanning as Text using the OCR software that came with your scanner? Depending upon the OCR software, you can get close to 100% accuracy. Re. accuracy; are you speaking from experience or vendor claims? If
experience, I would love to know what you are using. I have yet to see any OCR software that does not require extensive cleanup. I have to admit I am guilty of a slight<g exaggeration with the "close to 100%". That is more in keeping with my experience. I agree with you that I
have never seen OCR software as completely clueless as the OP's example would imply. Probably he is trying to open an image at text, as you seem to have implied.
