Default Protect Workbook

Good afternoon,

I am trying to password protect a workbook so that the workbook will require
a password before opening. The problem that I am having is that the option
to add a password to open the workbook is always greyed out? I have the
option to add one to modify but not to open.

Anyone have any ideas. I running office 2003 if this helps.

Thanks,

Daniel

Are you trying to add a password at the save as stage?
