I have overwritten a file in Excel 2003 and need to retrieve the original. I
do not normally perform a backup. Is there any way to retrieve the original? |

I think you've lost your original file.
Any chance you saved to a network folder--maybe your IT staff can restore it from a previous version? Any chance you've emailed someone a copy--maybe you have a copy in your Sent folder (or even ask the recipient to send a copy back)? danielsleavitt wrote: I have overwritten a file in Excel 2003 and need to retrieve the original.
