Default Removing Duplicats

I ran a sub-total on my spreadsheet. When I do this, the first cell (the
one I'm sorting on) alway has the the value repeated until the sub occurs,
then on to the next record and so forth.

Question, how do I remove the duplicates for that first cell? Hope this
makes sense...

Thanks so much for your help!!
