![]() I am using this =COUNTIF(A:A,"*-1*") and =COUNTIF(B:B,"*-1*") and =COUNTIF(C:C,"*-1*") and =COUNTIF(D:D,"*-1*") and =COUNTIF(F:F,"*-1*")to find numbers. 1-10 9-2 3-8 4-7 5-6 4-3 10-8 9-7 1-6 5-2 8-9 1-7 2-6 3-5 4-10 4-6 5-10 9-1 2-8 3-7 10-6 7-5 2-1 8-4 9-3 5-9 6-8 7-10 3-2 1-4 3-1 4-9 8-5 6-7 10-2 7-2 6-3 5-4 9-10 8-1 7-8 2-4 10-3 1-5 6-9 6-5 10-1 2-9 8-3 7-4 There are 5 columns here I want to know if the 1 is in front like 1-3 or behind 3-1. I am doing this for all 10 numbers. The problem is that the -1 is picking up the -10 and counting it as a -1. How can I fix this? -- sctroy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sctroy's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=25928 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=470600 |
