Save your EXCEL document as a text (tab delimited) file. Open Act! and

Excel has no support for Act files. You need to export your data
from Act in to a format that Excel can recognize, such as xls, csv, txt, sylk, or something. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "EXCEL AND ACT!" <EXCEL AND wrote in message ... ACT! should be able to read an excel file directly, provided you have the
data organized in a table. If not you need to export data to a standard format.. I like CSV personally, but text, csv, tab delimited should all work. Any way you slice it, you WILL have to go through a mapping exercise in ACT! to tell it what fields in ACT! map to columns in Excel. "EXCEL AND ACT!" wrote: HOW DO I MERGE EXCEL AND ACT FILES?
