Default Forms toolbar is grayed out - need a check box

For some reason the buttons on the Forms Toolbar (all bar the Toggle Grid
one) are grayed out.

When I open a new work book they are available.

I have been working on this workbook for some time. I am not aware of
anything that I have done to have caused this. Possibly a mi**** key along
the way.

I just need a check box!!!!!

Please help

Thanks

No - A password is required to open but there are no other protection
features used.
I have tried saving a copy of the worksheet without a password to open -
this didn't resolve the issue.

Thanks for your response.

Hmmm... Perhaps you have it shared? (Tools--Share workbook) When I tested
this, the forms toolbar components are all grayed out. See limitations:

Do you have multiple sheets grouped together?

I had a look at Tools - Share Workbook and the allow other users is
unchecked. I went through the process of checking and un checking and tried
this on a different workbook as well. I agree it does gray out the forms, but
when unchecked, functionality returns.

I still have a grayed out Forms toolbar.

It must be something like this...I have spent hours going through menus.

Thanks again - I appreciate the help

Rob

There are a reasonably large number of sheets - about 14 in total. As
mentioned I have been working on this for some time.

I don't understand what you mean by multiple sheets "grouped" together though?

Thanks

Rob

I have right clicked the tabs on each of the sheets. None of them offer me
the option to ungroup sheets.

You could also see [Group] in the title bar.

(I don't have another guess.)
