Cannot copy worksheet to another file
I have two files AAA.xls and BBB.xls open in Excel 2000. Each contains
several worksheets. I'm trying in vain to copy the contents of a sheet in AAA to an empty sheet in BBB. No matter what I try, I fail, getting this message: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...CannotCopy.jpg Neither of those two options works. Yet I can paste the clipboard data into the same worksheet or into a new worksheet in the same file AAA.XLS. Anyone know what's going on here please? -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK |

Thanks Claus, both those do the job. It seems that selecting the 'global' position (to the top left of A1) doesn't work reliably, either on the copy or paste, or possibly both. Any idea why? -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK |
