Number range as a percentage
Hi guys, not posted a new thread on here in a while as my excel knowledge develops. However, I'm stumped with a relatively simple idea.
Does anyone know how I can display a range of numbers as a percentage. i.e... Column A Column B 1 200 100% 2 150 75% 3 100 50% 4 50 25% 5 0 0% Column A will be a monetary value in millions - Formatted to an accountancy field. B1 will 100% because A1 is the highest number in the range of A1:A5 Any help greatly appreciated. Jason |

I should note that the monetary value in Column A will never be 0, so it will 0% would refer to the lowest value.
This value is the total estimated cost of all condition need to schools in Birmingham but need to show this as a percentage. |

With a small amendment I got it to work in my spread sheet. In B1: =A1/MAX($A$1:$A$5) Shows the highest number as 100%, the lowest as 0% and the rest fall as they may. |
