I opened a CSV comma-delimited file in Excel 2000. Then I edited one of
its columns, typically deleting parts at the start and end. These included some 'non-printing' characters (small rectangles, etc). When viewed in a text editor, some of these text strings are "surrounded by quotes", yet others are not. Can someone explain please? -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK |
