Default the forumula bar is not visible

i was working with a worksheet. somehow i have hided the formula tool bar. when i clilck on the Home tab i get it.(bold,italics,underline,font size. sort and filter etc). when i click on a cell it disappears.when i check the view tab, i can see the ruler option is ticked but not highlighted what to do to get it back in normal view. thanks

Which version of Excel are you using?

I have found out. for the information of the others -
right click on home btn.uncheck -minimize the ribbon. done
