Default Trying to reference two sets of data with one number

Basically i have two large sets of data based on a part number, what im looking to do is type in the part number and pull up both sets of data or have one set of data that includes both previous set.

Specifics: I have the price of thousands of parts from an earlier year and the price of parts from this year. Some partnumbers arent purchased anymore, and some new parts are added to a list. Im trying to find the common part numbers and then have both prices next to them so that i can do a variance check.

Excel 2003.

If there isnt a good way to do this it will take literally hours of sifting through both charts.

You can put a vlookup from either sheet by putting lookup value=part number and chek the price from another sheet. If part number is same and there are multiple values for it you can add a column and put formula,
Consider
Part number in Column A
Value in Column B
use formula
"=column A&column B" in both sheet and then vlookup. This could solve your problem.
