Default Excel date question

Hi!

I need help displaying dates in excel. I want to be able to write in a day of the month (the 15th for example) and have excel automatically change that to the 15th of current month we are in, and display it in month/day/year format.

So I would like to somehow indicate to a cell that I want it to display the 15th of the current month. So if it was july, I would want it to display 7/15/12. Once it becomes August, I want excel to automatically change that date to display 8/15/12.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Thank you in advance for your help!
