Default Autofill?

I need to number a sheet sequentially, in one column, starting with a number
of my choice. How do I make it so I only have to fill in the first couple?

Enter the starting value in the topmost cell of the desired range.
Highlight the entire range you want to sequentially fill (be sure to
include the topmost cell with the beginning value). Click
EditFillSeries. Select Columns, Linear and set the Step Value to
desired increment. Click OK and your range will be filled as desired.

Hello-

Let's say you want to start in cell A5 starting with 100:

Option 1-

In cell A5 type 100
In cell A6 type 101
Select A5 & A6
Use the Fill Handle (lower right corner of cell selector) to drag as far
down the column as necessary.

Option 2-

In cell A5 type 100 & click the green check on the editing bar (or press
Ctrl+Enter to enter the value but keep cell selector on A5)
Go to EditFillSeries, click the Option for Columns & make sure Linear is
set under Type.
Type in the value you want to end with into the StOp Value field (not the
StEp Value), then click OK.

Thank you, I've done this before and couldn't remember. It worked perfectly.
