Edit text box in 2010 - how?

Hi
I had no problem doing this in 2007, but 2010 grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I want to edit my text box ie: round or square corners
I can sort the line, thickness but corners driving me nuts
Can someone tell me how to do this please and return my sanity
