I am customizing a color palette with 22 new colors to match our company's
printing color palette. When opening the standard color palette to use it, you can hover over a color to display the color's name. (ie: "Dark Teal") However, after I've customized a color, the hover name defaults to "color scheme". Is there a way for me to edit "color scheme" to be my color name for each of the colors I've created? -- Susan |

There is no way to access or change the color pallet names. They
are hard coded into Excel. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "SueDot" wrote in message ... Thanks for the info, Chip. I was afraid that would be the answer.
How unfortunate. MS should really look at allowing for edited color names if they are going to allow people to edit the color palette! -- Susan "Chip Pearson" wrote: There is no way to access or change the color pallet names.
