I'm the only user on my computer but suddenly my excel 2003 workbooks are
shared workbooks. Because of this I'm unable to edit, center and merge is greyed out. How do I correct this problem? |

There are other things you can't do if your workbooks are shared. To
un-share one, activate it, choose Tools | Share Workbook, click the Editing tab if necessary, clear the "Allow changes ..." checkbox, click OK, click Yes.
