I need to fill in the alphabet in a row and column.
I cannot get the drag handle to continue the series for me as it does with numbers. If I begin with a,b,c,d it just repeats these letters rather than continue the alphabet. any help for this? thanks D |

You can enter it as a Custom List.
Enter a,b,c,.. etc. in A1:A26. Select the cells and choose Tools/Options/Custom lists. Click on Import list from $A$1:$A$26 You will then be able to fill a series based on the custom list.
