Default Giving out code in messages

Dear All,

I'm hoping to make some new friends here, having just joined this forum and all, but I've noticed one thing very quickly:

There are lots of instances of code examples being given out in messages - are you all aware that the greater-than and less-than symbols get lost during this process?

I've seen quite a few code chunks where these symbols are quite clearly needed, such as in logical expressions, but they're missing.

This must surely have an impact on the way the code works? It's not always obvious as to which symbol should be inserted in the gap.

Apart from this, nice to see other people taking Excel programming seriously (in all the jobs I've had, it's always been treated as 'third-class' programming against Java, C++ etc.)

Regards,
BizMark

I think the problem is caused by the forum you're going through.

If you have a newsreader (even Outlook Express), you can connect directly to the
MSNewsServers and see the posts in their "original" pristine state <vbg.

Saved from a previous post:

If you have Outlook Express installed, try clicking on these links (or copy and
paste into MSIE).

(You can always connect to more later)

Here are some links that explain it better:

Or you can use google to search for stuff you've posted (and find the replies,
