Default Layout in Excel

I have several workheets list of zip codes and the count of how many people
from each zip code signed up in a particular region.
I want to combine the information on a master list . If there are any
duplications, I want to combine the code and the count.
Sheet 1: 55010 16
Sheet 3: 55010 2

to Read:
Master list 55010 18

What can I do, I couldn't quite get a Pivot Table to do it right.

I'd copy all the data into one sheet, then start the pivottable.
