Default hyperlink file association

I have an excel document that has hyperlinked cells that open a .pdf file. I
want the pdfs to automatically open in the latest version of Adobe Reader
(which is currently 6.0 on our computers). For some reason this works just
fine on all computers, but on my boss' it only opens the hyperlinked pdf in
Adobe Acrobat 4.0 even though he has Reader 6.0 and the file association is
set to open any .pdf in Adobe Reader 6.0... Any ideas on why this is
happening? Are there any settings in excel that relate to this? We have
Excel 2000 and Windows 200 SP4. Thanks
