take a look at Conditional Formatting in XL Help.
Example: Assume A1 has an expiration date. Select A1 and choose Format/Conditional formatting... enter CF1: Cell Value is less than =TODAY() Format1: Patterns/<color In article , "cwest123456" wrote: i'm trying to automatically highlight cells in Excel with expired dates. is this possible? i cant figure out how to do it unless i do it by hand |
