am doing something wrong.???

Hi,

Use C1 as an absolute reference. For eg. in cell A2, if you want
multiply the value in cell C1 by 10, instead of using =C1*10 use

=$C$1*10.

You can make a cell reference absolute by pressing F4 key.

Regards

Govind.
