how do i type (c) without getting the copyright symbol?
In Excel, I am trying to type (c) but keep getting the copyright symbol. How
do I just type (c)? |

You can turn off autocorrect: Tools/Autocorrect, uncheck the Replace
Text as you type checkbox. Or you could delete the autocorrect entry (which will then apply to other Office apps). Or you could just type CTRL-z after the autocorrect occurs to undo it. Laborous but try entering:
