I am running Excel 2000 and Explorer 6 with Windows 2000 Pro.
When I try to view an Excel file on the Internet that has links to other web files, Excel opens the spreadsheet locally from my Temp Internet folder. The linked cells incorrectly point to the Temp local folder to look for the linked files as opposed to looking for them in their proper web based folders. Others in my office can do this properly so I know the problem is not in the web based spreadsheet itself. Any suggestions as to what I need to change in the way of settings on my computer to fix this problem? Steve Williams |
