how do you force the cell to leave the data as you type it?
I want the cell to have 5-6 but it keeps changing it to 6-May. I have tried
formatting the cell but to no avail. Is there a way to stop the autoformatting? |

Place an apostrophe in front of your text or first format the cell as text.
