Sorry, just to tell you a little more about the project, the sheet that i
want to be seen by everyone - to be published on our intranet is called '2005', it pulls its information of the latest prices from another sheet 'MASTER' that intern takes its information for many different sheets based on Web Queries. (not the most effective way for organising the data but plans changed half way through the project!) The latest prices are published in '2005' in row 5. For example DAX latest price is in B5. On the last day of the month I want to copy the number in row 5, to a few rows further down the column... this row will change every month.. and i need this number to be a fixed number rather than an updating one as in row 5... Am i being too ambitious? "George" wrote: Thank you so much for your help - it is very much appreciated...I was hoping to create a table that stores the value on the last day of the month... WOuld i have to use VBA to create such a macro because i am a bit out of practce with that... "Bernie Deitrick" wrote: George, Not an IF function, but either a macro that you run, or event code will do that for you. Do you always want the record in the same cell, or do you want to create a table with dates and values? Specific sheet names and ranges would help. HTH, Bernie MS Excel MVP "George" wrote in message ... I need some help!! In one cell I have a price that is constanly updating - as it is linked to a web page. I need to take this price on the the last day of every month and automatically save a record of it in another cell.... is this possible? Thanks. |
