Bob

A few days back you kindly offered some direct help with any projects.

Didn't take long, did it, but I'm after advice. Is it okay to contact
you direct?

Thanks

Steve

The idea of newsgroups is also to figure out the issues in the public
domain. That way all may benefit from Bob's answers

Bob is very generous and knowledgeable and has always wanted to share with
all. Hopefully we can see the question and answers maybe after it's sorted

Nick

I agree with you about the purpose of this type of newsgroup, and would
normally post my queries to the group - I've always had solid, helpful
advice here and it's helped me a lot in doing what I need to do in
Excel. I remain very grateful to a large number of people here who've
supplied answers to my questions. There's certainly no slight intended
to everyone else here by my specifically looking to Bob; I apologise if
it seemed that way.

The request to Bob was made as a result of an offer made by him, and
because it may well require my supplying the workbook concerned, which
I obviously cannot do here. If I felt confident enough in my ability to
outline the problem clearly and concisely and not waste everyones time
in attempting to do so, I would have posted it a long time ago (as
opposed to leaving it gathering dust in my Work Stuff folder. :) )

If Bob agrees to help and has no objections to my doing otherwise, I'd
be happy to put up a problem & resolution post.

Steve
