Links have been created that use the network drive.Somewhere, somehow (which is what we don't know) the path changes to what to include the full path (the name of the server) but it leaves out parts of the full path which makes the link invalid.

I have looked into whether there are different versions of Excel being used but only 2007 is used. The location is the same (on a mapped network drive and not on SharePoint, for example.) It does not happen to all files with links - only some.

Would you know why this is happening?
