I want to create a spread sheet that will extract time blocks. I have a
manager that is having trouble with time cards. I want her to be able to enter the hours worked for example 1900 to 0730. I need Excel to figure that 1900 to 2300 is four hours on the evening shift, 2300 to 0700 is 8 hours on the night shift and 0700 to 0730 is one half hour of overtime on the day shift. I will put each shift in a separate column. So how to I formulate the basic question? Thank you. Hopefully I am clear enough, if not please let me know. Fay |
