Using 'GoTo' in a Macro
First of all I apologise if this is a basic question, I have been searching the boards but dont see anything specific to my needs. In a nutshell I have a series of macros that are pulling data from other worksheets and preparing a finished report. After one column of data is presented I am using MATCH to find a specific row, then I use that data to calculate the next cell in the same column where my next data needs to be displayed. However, I am then taking that cell reference (eg B27) and using the goto feature to move to the relevent cell and copy the next data into the spreadsheet. My problem is this, that cell reference (B27) will change every time this report is run for different customers, however the goto command isnt taking the contents of the clipboard when the macro runs, instead it takes the absolute reference I used when I recorded the macro. So I am looking for a method to use a cell reference in either a cell on the spreadheet or in the clipboard with the goto feature. I hope that isnt too confusing. -- adam777 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ adam777's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=24764 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=383319 |
