Do a Google search for "lost password Excel" for many sources of code to
break your lost password.

If you can open the file as read-only, then 'save as' something else.
With older versions of Excel, you may have to remove the password
before you 'save as.' Then, delete the password-protected file and you
can rename your 'save as' file as the original name.
